Being Broke in a Expensive Hobby

Time and time again, I listen to reviews try every headphone/amp/DAC/speaker and wonder where it all comes from. While I wish I get the opportunity to listen to "golden headphones" with my less than "Golden Ears", I figure I have to start somewhere. I'm writing this staring at a THX AAA-789 amplifier waiting to be shipped, listening to HD650 headphones from a Q5s wondering... what's next?

I am writing a blog with an empty bank account, working a 14/hr a day job, wishing for those high end headphones. I don't know where I will take this blog but it will always be about music. I promise.
